MMI-Recap: Highlights from the last few months at MMI

Okt. 15, 2025 | Monthly LinkedIn Recap

A lot has happened at MMI recently – here’s a quick tour of the biggest highlights.

Product news: HDR Plugin for DaVinci Resolve

You may have seen our launch of the HDR Plugin for DaVinci Resolve in recent posts and summaries. It’s live and ready to use – check it out here. That’s just one exciting piece of what we’ve been up to. If you follow us on LinkedIn, you’ve probably caught even more behind-the-scenes details.

Team hackathon: building, bonding, and big ideas

Meeting in person matters – to our work and to our culture. During our latest three-day hackathon we stepped away from day-to-day routines to focus on:

  • AI stack & architecture: We pressure-tested our AI foundations to make them future-proof in a fast-moving landscape.
  • MCP servers at scale: With an expanding range of MCP servers (e.g., for Confluence, YouTrack, and databases), we’ve struck a healthy balance between standardized patterns and the flexibility teams need.

It wasn’t all code and whiteboards. We added a yoga session with a pro instructor for a midday reset, and in the evening we soaked up Munich vibes at the Wiesn/Oktoberfest and on a Nachtwächterwanderung in München.

Result: three intense, inspiring days – already looking forward to the next one.

The REDNET OPSCenter: our next-gen control plane

Our OPSCenter – the successor to the ControlCenter (which may still be running in your environment) – is moving into the spotlight. It’s the future-proof center for our solutions, designed for both our customers and our own teams.

Why it matters

  • Kubernetes native: Built on Kubernetes for scalability, high availability, and consistency across environments.
  • Operational excellence: Automated recovery and rolling updates.
  • Unified delivery: Same CI/CD tooling across services for uniform deployments – cloud or on-prem.
  • Security: Stay ahead of evolving IT threats and ensure the highest level of system and customer security.
  • Lower TCO: Standardizing the tech foundations simplifies operations and, ultimately, reduces costs.

In short: when environments align on similar technology, operations get simpler for us – and more cost-effective for you.

IBC: reconnecting with the community

It already feels like ages ago, but IBC was just last month – and it was a success all around. We met friends, partners, customers, and many new faces. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to talk and explore what’s next.

AIOps is no longer just a buzzword – the industry is clearly moving toward improving system operations through AI and intelligent assistants. It’s exciting to see how quickly this field is evolving and how open the community has become to real, applied AI solutions.
By integrating AIOps into our OPSCenter, our central solution management platform, we’re confident that we’re on the right path toward smarter, more autonomous operations.

For our partner, Hochschule RheinMain, the show was a success as well. Many visitors stopped by our shared booth to see the latest HDR developments. We’re proud to collaborate in this area, and the interest in our HDR Plugin and our newest innovation – HDR upconversion using AI – was tremendous.

Didn’t make it to IBC but want to chat? We’d love to hear from you: info@mmi-meda.de.
